IB-Green
Eleven project partners from different European countries are working together to make industrial and business parks climate-resilient and fit for the future. The project is funded under the Interreg North-West Europe programme.
Objective
Making existing industrial and business parks more climate-resilient will reduce heat stress and improve air quality in urban areas, leading to healthier living and working conditions, and mitigating the adverse effects of climate change for businesses and cities.
Approach
Representatives of local authorities, business park operators and managers, networks, sector organisations and science institutions in the field of climate adaptation are joining forces to work on this challenge. They are developing action plans for public authorities, compiling showcases and best-practice examples for business park operators and companies, and also providing training for all stakeholders.
